ABOUT US

Crondall Pétanque Club was formed in 1989 in the Hampshire village of Crondall, before relocating to improved facilities alongside Cody Sports and Social Club between Fleet and Farnborough. Our members enjoy the friendship and social as well as the competitive side of the game. The social events at the Cody S&SC are also available to our members. With over seventy members we're currently one of the largest pétanque clubs in the UK , welcoming new members of all ages and abilities. We are always pleased to help anyone wanting to have a 'taster' session. (You may already know or have tried the game, also known as boules, on holidays abroad). Our three qualified coaches provide coaching sessions for those keen to improve their skills.
Interested in playing more competitively? We have teams playing in 6 and 9-a-side leagues organised by the Southern Counties Pétanque Region of Pétanque England, as well as competitions around our region and beyond. We also take part in the 6-a-side North Downs League which was initiated by one of our founder members.
Club sessions are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays starting at 13:00 (winter schedule) and 13.30 (summer schedule). We hope to be able to add evening sessions in the summer months.
For enquiries about membership, or if you’d like to come along for some ‘taster’ sessions (up to five free), please email crondallpetanqueclub@gmail.com
